We are pleased to reflect on the successful 2nd edition of the Leuven Protein Aggregation Meeting 2024, organized by our Twin4Promis advanced partner, the Switch Lab at VIB-KU Leuven. Held from September 11-13, 2024, in the historic Great Beguinage of Leuven, this event served as a vibrant hub for knowledge exchange, innovation, and collaboration in the field of protein aggregation.

The conference brought together 150 carefully selected participants in a setting that was both informal and intellectually stimulating, fostering substantial dialogue and networking among researchers. This atmosphere enabled the exchange of pioneering ideas and advancements in the field.

The scientific program was meticulously crafted, showcasing enlightening presentations from leading researchers around the globe. Informative and inspiring sessions covered a broad spectrum of topics related to protein aggregation. Networking opportunities were abundant during poster sessions and the conference dinner, providing young researchers, including those from Twin4Promis, with platforms to present their research, engage with colleagues, and build collaborative relationships. These exchanges are invaluable, nurturing a shared sense of community and mission among those committed to studying protein aggregation.
