Highlights from Dr. Georgios Skretas’ Talk at the 3rd Panhellenic Student Conference of Bioscientists

From March 28 to 30, 2025, the city of Alexandroupoli, Greece hosted the inspiring 3rd Panhellenic Student Conference of Bioscientists, bringing together students, researchers, and innovators from across Greece.

One of the presentations on the opening day, March 28, was given by Dr. Georgios Skretas entitled “Beneficial microbes as platforms for the discovery of novel, effective pharmaceuticals”. In his talk, Dr. Skretas explored how engineered microorganisms can be used as tools for discovering new therapeutic compounds. The presentation was particularly relevant for students and early-career researchers interested in the intersection of biology and pharmaceutical innovation.

Twin4Promis strongly supports initiatives led by young scientists and would like to congratulate all the students on the organizing committee for delivering a well-structured and engaging conference that fostered learning, collaboration, and thoughtful dialogue in the biosciences.
