We are excited to announce that Dr. Georgios Skretas, the Coordinator of the Twin4promis project, will be participating in the upcoming 6th Genomics, Neuroscience, Therapeutics, and Data Innovation Summit (GeNeDis 2024) as a keynote speaker. This event will take place from Thursday, October 17 to Sunday, October 20, 2024, in Athens, Greece.
GeNeDis is a world congress dedicated to the latest research in Genetics, Geriatrics, and Neurodegenerative Diseases, held every two years. The conference is organized by the Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Human Electrophysiology (BiHELab) of the Department of Informatics, Ionian University, and it serves as a hub for scientists and innovators to discuss the advancements in genomics, neuroscience, and therapeutic development.
As part of the event, Dr. Skretas will be delivering a lecture on his research entitled: “Engineered microbes as a platform for discovering molecular rescuers of neurotoxic protein misfolding and aggregation.”
This presentation, scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 16:00 to 16:20 EEST, will take place during the session on “Therapeutic approaches & disease intervention.”
For those attending GeNeDis 2024, we encourage you to join Dr. Skretas’ presentation and learn more about our cutting-edge work in therapeutic solutions for neurodegenerative diseases.
