Strengthening Twinning Synergies: Twin4Promis at ISPIS 2025

Dr Georgios Skretas, principal investigator and coordinator of Twin4Promis, was recently featured as an invited speaker at the International Symposium on Protein Interactions and Self‑assembly (ISPIS 2025), which took place from 14 to 16 July 2025 at the University of Lisbon, Portugal.

The symposium was organised within the framework of Twin2PIPSA, a Horizon Europe Twinning project coordinated by the University of Lisbon, dedicated to advancing excellence in the study of protein interactions, phase separation, and supramolecular assembly.

ISPIS 2025 brought together leading scientists in the field, including Kresten Lindorff‑Larsen, Ehud Gazit, Sophie Jackson, and Twin4Promis advanced partner Michele Vendruscolo, offering a vibrant setting for scientific exchange, networking, and the promotion of cross-institutional collaboration across Europe.

Participation in this event strengthens the synergy between Twin4Promis and related European initiatives such as Twin2PIPSA, reinforcing our shared mission to elevate research excellence, foster collaboration, and address key biomedical challenges related to protein misfolding and aggregation.
