Mr. Nattawat (Nat) Leelahakorn is currently visiting the National Hellenic Research Foundation during February 1st – March 31st 2023. Nat is a PhD candidate at the University of Copenhagen (Advisor: Prof. Sotirios Kampranis) and is being hosted at the Laboratory of Enzyme and Synthetic Biotechnology at the Institute of Chemical Biology under the supervision of Dr. Georgios Skretas. Nat will bw working on engineering yeast cells to function as biosensors for detecting ligand binding to and cell-surface expression of misfolding-prone and disease-associated variants of human G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs).
